Jessica got married in March so I flew out to visit her in Michigan! Not only did I get to see her (we taught together in Peru), but I spent time with all of these wonderful friends who also came in for the wedding. I also got to spend a night with Lindsay and meet some of her friends.
On the same trip I got to spend time with Nik and Whitney, friends who lived across the street from me when I taught in Echo, MN. They too live in Michigan now so it was great to see them and their two daughters.
The first trip I actually took though, was to visit Charissa. She's my adopted little sister and lives in Norther MN. Her brother was going up to visit her and meet the newest member of her family, so I jumped in for the ride. She didn't know I was coming so it was fun to surprise her!
And for a fourth (although only the 3rd actual trip), I got to visit Amy in Colorado. While there I met up with my friend Teresa, who also taught with me in Peru, and we ate crepes. It was fun to catch up with her once again.
